intellify respects your privacy. This privacy statement describes your privacy rights and our obligation to protect your personal information.
intellify's head office is located in Copenhagen, and intellify is subject to European personal data law, including the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
All major intellify decisions about personal information and privacy are made under the supervision of the Data Protection Officer. This Statement of Privacy is available on our Websites (intellify.dk, intellify.ai and intellify.cloud).
This privacy statement applies to all business processes and to all intellify's websites, domains, mobile solutions, cloud services and communities, and intellify-branded websites. Service-specific supplements can be found in intellify Terms, Data Processing Agreements, or similar information for that specific service.
The privacy statement provides information about the data processing carried out by intellify, when intellify determines the purpose and the means by which the processing is performed intellify acts as Data Controller. It also provides information about the data processing performed by intellify on behalf of our Customers on the basis of their instructions (Customer as Data Controller and intellify as Data Processor).
Personal information is information that can identify you as a person, such as e-mail address, postal address or telephone number etc. We need to process your personal data in order to serve our Customers. Please do not use intellify Sites or our services if you are unable to accept the way in which we process personal information under this Privacy Statement.
intellify processes personal information about job seekers and contacts or software users affiliated with our Customers. We also process personal information about people who constitute potential customers (customer leads) and who contact us via intellify Sites or through other channels. Our statement in these respects can be found in the section 'intellify as Data Controller'.
We also process data on behalf of our Customers where the Customer controls the processing. Our statement in these respects can be found in the section 'intellify as a Data Processor.'
In this Statement about protection of personal information, data subjects may also be referred to as persons or you.
When intellify determines for what purpose and with which tools the processing of your personal data is carried out, intellify acts as Data Controller. This includes scenarios where intellify collects Personal Information, in the context of your job search, that you represent a Customer or Customer Leads, or when you are a Software User.
In general, to manage our Customer Relationships and to fulfill our Customer Commitments, intellify needs information about you in your role as a Customer Contact or User of a Service. The purposes of processing this personal data are:
a) to carry out the sales and contracting process for Customers
b) to provide the requested products and services offerings to Customers
c) to ensure deliveries in accordance with agreements entered into with you or Customers
d) to provide support to users of our products and services
e) to improve and develop the quality, functionality and user experience of our products, services and
intellify Sites
f) to register, detect, mitigate and prevent security threats and perform maintenance including
troubleshooting and debugging
g) to prevent abuse of our products and services
h) to process orders, invoicing, payments and other financial follow-up activities
i) to create interest profiles to promote relevant products and services
j) to operate user communities to educate and enable interaction between users and intellify
The legal basis for processing personal data for the purposes set out in subparagraphs (a) to (i) above is primarily based on the fact that intellify has a legitimate interest in the processing of your personal data in a manner that, in our opinion, does not conflict with your rights regarding personal data protection and self-determination. The legal basis for processing your personal data for the purposes set out in subparagraph (j) is your consent.
intellify processes personal information about Customer leads for marketing purposes. In order to deliver targeted and relevant content to prospective Customers, intellify builds an interest profile based on your activity and choices and actions on intellify Pages, as well as your response to marketing content via email. The legal basis for such treatment is primarily your consent. In the sections below you can read how we create such profiles, how to adjust the profile, and how to revoke your consent.
If you are a job seeker, we process personal information to evaluate your potential as a intellify employee. The legal basis for such treatment is your consent.
Generally, intellify collects personal information directly from you or other persons affiliated with our Customer. These individuals can be a manager or colleague. If the Customer you work for purchases products or services from intellify through an intellify affiliate company, we may collect information about you from the affiliate company.
We also use cookies and other tracking technologies when using intellify Sites and when interacting with us via email to optimize your experience of intellify and our sites. Please refer to the section 'Automatic data collection tools' for more information on how these technologies work and your rights in this context.
In some cases, we may also collect information about you from other sources. These sources may be intellify's marketing partners, public sources, or third party social networks. intellify will be able to combine personal information about you collected from one source with information obtained from another source. This gives us a more complete picture of you, which also allows us to serve you in a more relevant way with a higher degree of personalization.
intellify uses various tracking technologies to collect information about your activities on intellify pages, and your interactions with us. Below are some examples.

Facebook Remarketing: Facebook's tracking pixel places

As Data Controller, intellify does not process sensitive personal information about you.
intellify consists of various subsidiaries, so there is a high probability that a Customer will run his business with more than one intellify company. It is important for us to provide the best possible customer service and overall experience. Therefore, in order to maintain a complete overview and knowledge of what relationships Customers and contacts have with the various companies within the intellify group, we therefore share your personal information with our subsidiaries.
intellify may also share your personal information with external third parties in the following contexts:
If you post, comment or similar in intellify user communities or in other forums on intellify Sites, such information may be read and used by anyone with access to such forums and used for purposes outside of intellify’s or your own control. intellify is not responsible for information you post in such forums on intellify Sites. intellify does not publish any comments, recommendations or similar prepared by you without your prior consent.
intellify may share your personal information with our partners, provided this is legitimate from a business perspective and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. For example, if you buy on behalf of your employer a product or service that intellify provides through one of our certified partners. In this connection, intellify and our partner may share personal information to be able to provide the product or service to the Customer.
Police and other authorities may require personal information held by intellify to be disclosed. In these cases, intellify will only disclose the information if there is a court order etc., which requires us to do so.

You also have the right to request intellify to correct any inaccuracies in your personal information. If you have an account with intellify, this can usually be done through the relevant "your settings" or "your profile" sections on the relevant intellify Page or in the application.
You also have the right to request the deletion of personal data and to limit or object to our processing of your personal data under this Privacy Statement or other service-specific terms.

How does intellify secure and store your personal data?
intellify takes the trust you and our customers show us very seriously. intellify commits to avoid unauthorized access, disclosure or other dissenting processing of personal information. intellify must ensure the confidentiality of the personal information we process, maintain the integrity of personal information and ensure its accessibility in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation.
As part of our obligations, we use reasonable and appropriate organizational, technical and physical procedures and precautions to protect the information we collect and process, taking into account the type of personal information and the risks you and our Customers are exposed to in case of security breaches. As there is a high probability that the root causes of breaches of personal information security can be found internally, we believe that building a strong corporate culture, where respect for and vigilance about data protection among our employees is fundamental to ensuring legal processing and protecting your information. The following precautions are of particular importance in this regard:

the protection of personal data in view of the requirements laid down in applicable data protection
legislation.
Locations are protected by access control and surveillance systems.
intellify will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, while taking into account our need to respond to queries and resolve issues and to comply with legal requirements under applicable law.
This means that intellify may retain your personal information for a reasonable period of time following your and our Customer's last interaction with us. When the personal information we have collected is no longer necessary, we will delete it. We can process data for statistical purposes, but in such cases the data will be pseudonymized or anonymized.
intellify provides many different services to our Customers. Most of our services involve the processing of Customers' data, including their personal information. The goals of the processing are decided by our customers, not by intellify. This makes the Customer the Data Controller. In such cases, intellify acts as Data Processor and processes the data on behalf of and in accordance with instructions given by the Customer. The relationship between the Customer as Data Controller and intellify as a Data Processor must be regulated by a data processing agreement.
When the Customer acts as Data Controller, the Customer must, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, ensure the legal basis for the processing of personal information. The customer must also assess and establish ownership of the risks to which data subjects are exposed through the processing of their personal information. Another important aspect of the Customer's obligations as Data Controller is to comply with the information obligation in relation to data subjects.
intellify is a natural part of the Customer's obligations as Data Controller in the sense that intellify services form part of the processing of personal information that the Customer must ensure is in accordance with applicable data protection law. Thus, when intellify processes personal information on behalf of its Customers, we must do so in accordance with applicable data protection laws for Data Processors.
In short, the Customer and intellify are required to cooperate to ensure the privacy of data subjects. intellify provides the Customer with the necessary information so that the Customer can act in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
intellify uses subcontractors to process personal data and in this connection can export your or our Customer's data to a location outside the EU. These subcontractors are typically providers of cloud services or other IT hosting services.
By using subcontractors, intellify will enter into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with subcontractors to secure your personal data rights and to fulfill our obligations to our Customers. When subcontractors are located outside the EU, intellify secures the legal basis for such international transfers on behalf of you or our Customers, including by relying on Privacy Shield (US) or by using EU Model Clauses.
intellify relies on some strategic third parties that support our business processes and provide our cloud services. Further information on intellify's use of subcontractors is provided here.
If we change our Privacy Statement regarding protection of personal information, we will publish the revised statement here with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review the Statement on a regular basis. If we make significant changes to our Statement, which significantly changes our privacy practices, we may also notify you in other ways, for example, by sending an e-mail or by publishing a notice on our corporate website and / or on social media before the changes take effect.
